Both Saxlingham and Preston fielded a Mixed Team of boys and girls at the South Norfolk Cricket tournament, with Preston finishing in 5th place.

Year 5/6 Residential to Bawdsey, March 2026

In March 2026, together with our friends from Saxlingham, our Year 5 and Year 6 children took part in a fantastic 3-day residential trip to Bawdsey Manor in Suffolk.  Along with Mr Walker, Miss Dignum, Mrs Winter, Mrs Newson, Miss Walker and Mrs Allgood, the children enjoyed some action-packed time away, challenging themselves to master new skills and conquer fears!  We enjoyed a range of activities including: the big swing, buggy building, orienteering, climbing, frisbee golf, Jacob’s Ladder and zipwire.  What a fantastic trip it was!

KS1 Cricket Festival

What beautiful weather for a game of cricket! Our Key Stage 1 children took part in the South Norfolk Kwik Cricket Festival at Tas Valley Cricket Club in beautiful spring sunshine.

Preston’s Year 1 and Year 2 children were in action during the morning and, during the afternoon, it was the turn of Saxlingham’s Sparrow Class.

All the children enjoyed a picnic lunch together.
