A member of the Tas Valley Church Schools Federation

Welcome to Preston CE VC Primary School

On behalf of the staff, pupils and governors, I would like to welcome you to Preston CEVC Primary School.  Based in the village of Tasburgh, we are proud to be members of Tas Valley Church Schools Federation, and we are federated with Saxlingham Nethergate CEVC Primary School.  As a church school, we work closely with St. Mary’s Church, Tasburgh.

Our Federation vision, ‘Living Life to the Full,’ is based on our understanding of the Bible verse, John 10:10.  As church schools, we hold Christian values at the core of everything we do.  We are extremely proud of our unique and inclusive learning community, and our children thrive in their learning through positive, caring relationships and a broad, balanced and stimulating curriculum.  Everyone is welcome within our Federation family; our pupils learn to practice empathy and compassion and we value spiritual development, providing daily opportunities to reflect and connect with one another.  We are also keen to encourage our pupils to care for their  environment, both within the local community and making connections to the wider world.

In September 2024, Preston CE VC Primary School has 125 children on roll, aged from 4-11 years.  The school is organised into five class groups: Ladybirds (Reception and Year 1), Bumblebees (Year 2), Grasshoppers (Year 3 and Year 4), Caterpillars (Year 4 and Year 5) and Dragonflies (Year 6).

If you would like more information, then please get in touch via the school office!  We would be delighted to answer your questions and to give you a tour of the school.  Click to download a copy of the School Brochure.
